The size guide has been devised to allow for adequate changing room and for layering clothing underneath. If you are near the upper limit of a size bracket you may want to size up to ensure extra comfort and movement. Similarly, if you plan to use your dry robe more as a coat, and not for changing, you may wish to size down.
